Pick up a family-friendly Gallery Discovery Kit and search for animals or explore life at sea. Get swept up in the excitement of an Atrium Alive weekend festival and make new friends in our Book Buddies story time program. Come experience PEM — together.

After viewing Ansel Adams: At the Water's Edge and Natural Histories, Photographs by Barbara Bosworth, students explore art in a natural habitat, seeking inspiration from their surroundings at PEM and the great outdoors. Projects include digital photography collage and mapmaking.
Guest presenters include perennial favorites Curious Creatures (curiouscreatures.org) and more!

Art Majors - NEW!
Students delve into a program of art, design, architecture and visual studies. PEM's galleries serve as the ultimate backdrop for this in-depth study of the elements of art (line, form, space, color, value and texture). Students spend the week building a body of work that culminates in an online portfolio.
Daily guest artists include Alison Naturale (alisonnaturale.com) and a return visit by Nathaniel Furlong (studiofiftysix.com).
